About Johnnyland.
Johnnyland is a working sugar cane and cattle farm in the Northern Rivers, now shared as a photography studio and creative location.
The property has been in the same family for four generations. Wide paddocks, cane fields, dirt roads and open landscapes create an ever-changing backdrop shaped by the seasons and light.
People live and work here every day, so Johnnyland remains a real, working farm first.
In 2024 the gates were opened to the creative community. Now photographers, brands and artists come to use the land and studio to create something new.
Every shoot brings a different perspective — and we love seeing the farm transformed through someone else’s lens.
Location
Located in Mooball NSW, which is part of the Northern Rivers. Conveniently siutated between Coolangatta & Byron Bay.
Johnny is a sugar cane and cattle farmer who has spent his life on this land.
A fourth-generation custodian of the property, he knows every corner of it.
In 2024 he gave his kids the green light to open the farm to the creative community.
